Residing in the beautiful Flathead Valley of Montana, Joe is a full-time land specialist and real estate broker. His real estate experience dates back to 2017 and includes personal investments in land, multi-family, and residential properties – in addition to brokering transactions professionally for clients. He has been a part of many complicated transactions involving mineral rights, oil and gas leases, conservation easements, subdivisions, and creative financing.
A former civil and environmental engineer, he holds the ALC (Accredited Land Consultant) designation, QDMA Deer Steward Level II certification, and a commercial drone pilot’s license.
Locally, Joe specializes in country homes, recreational land, farmland, timberland, and investment properties with expertise in 1031 exchanges, negotiation strategies, and creative deal-making. His team handles transactions of all shapes and sizes for clients locally – but will also travel anywhere for our clients.
Combining work with passion, the Compass West Land Sales team takes pride in visiting remote, rural, hard to access locations for clients any time of the year. Specializing in large acreage sales, he takes a data-driven approach to investment analysis helping clients achieve their goals.
An avid outdoorsman and former farm manager, he brings passion, financial insight, and local knowledge to every transaction. Joe’s passions include guiding fishing trips in Montana and backpacking through the mountains.
